IMPORTANT:  No convention, association, publisher, financial organization, research organization, consultant, or outside agency replaces the authority and responsibility of the autonomous local Baptist congregation. These resources should be used as guides to assist the church in making informed decisions consistent with its governing documents, Baptist polity, ministry needs, congregational context, and prayerful discernment under the leadership of the Holy Spirit.
